The Power and Influence Top 50: New Faces Abound

August 1 can only mean one thing for readers of The NonProfit Times: The release of the latest edition of The Power and Influence Top 50.

Included in the August 1 edition of NPT, this is the 17th installment of the list of the biggest movers and shakers in the nonprofit sector. While there is turnover in the list every year, the 2014 edition features many new additions. Who are some of these executives? Let’s take a look:

  • Michael Waldman, The Brennan Center for Justice
  • Jacob Harold, GuideStar
  • Michael Silberman, GreenPeace
  • Margarette Purvis, Food Bank for New York City
  • Robert K. Ross, The California Endowment
  • Douglas Rutzen, International Center for Not-for-Profit Law

In total, there are 17 new selections to this year’s installment of The Power and Influence Top 50 in addition to three executives (including Phil Buchanan of Center for Effective Philanthropy) who have returned after a brief hiatus. As always, all honorees will be celebrated at the NPT Power and Influence Gala in September at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. We will have exclusive photos from the event in the November 1 issue of NPT but, in the meantime, enjoy The 2014 Power and Influence Top 50.
