Forget Kim Kardashian, Rhianna and “the Biebs.” Nonprofit organization “selfies” can “expose” a story, too. We want you to tell your organization’s story through a mobile selfie. The rules are simple and the winner gets quite the booty, err, bounty.
According to the dictionary folks at Oxford, selfie was the word of the year for 2013. Take a selfie of work being done that includes mission-related topics. Be creative. Be funny. Photo bomb. Communicate a story. Email that image to [email protected] and be sure to include your contact information.
Entries received by noon EST, Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 will be judged by the editorial staff of The NonProfit Times and the best will be posted to The NonProfit Times’ website.
The world will then get a chance to vote on the selfie that best communicates the organization’s message.
The winner (as well as a few runners-up) will be the focus of a feature story in The NonProfit Times early next year and the phone-tographer will win a $100 American Express gift card. All decisions by The NPT staff are final and, of course, void where prohibited.
