Production Solutions Now Part Of Moore Direct

Production Solutions/PS Digital (PS/PSD) has become part of Moore DM Group (Moore), a strategic melding of two prominent names in the nonprofit direct response fundraising space.

PS/PSD will continue as an independent business unit specializing in value-added direct mail and digital execution from its headquarters in Vienna, Va.

According to a release from the firm, PS/PSD Chief Executive Officer George Lizama will serve as an advisor during the transition, retiring at year’s end. The firm’s two other owners, Greg Albright and Wayne Lizama, will join Moore DM Group as executives. Albright will become chief relationship officer while Wayne Lizama will serve as chief operating officer. Both will also serve on the Moore DM Group advisory board.

Ben Harris, PS/PS Digital’s chief operating officer will become president of the division.

Details of the deal were not disclosed and an executive of the organization was not immediately available for comment.

This is the second deal this year in the nonprofit space for Moore Direct Marketing. The firm acquired Redfield & Co., a provider of custom printed products back in May. Terms of that deal were not disclosed.

Redfield, which was founded in Omaha, Neb., in 1883, provides promotional mail, automated forms, commercial printing, and pressure-sensitive labels.

Tulsa, Okla.-based Moore DM Group owns a number of fundraising firms. The company purchased Bowie, Md.-based CDR Fundraising Group in 2011 and acquired the assets of Barton Cotton for $6.8 million after it emerged from bankruptcy in 2009.
