NPT’s Mark Hrywna Wins Excellence In Journalism Awards

We are proud to announce that Mark Hrywna, senior editor here at The NonProfit Times, has won three Excellence in Journalism Awards from the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists (NJSPJ). Mark will be invited to attend the award ceremony at the Yogi Berra Museum in Little Falls, NJ, along with the other winners.

Mark is winning the three awards based on his work on the following pieces:

Mark has been with The NonProfit Times since 2005, where he’s become a sucker for stories about nonprofit governance, transparency and finances. Before joining NPT, Mark was in charge of about a dozen weekly newspapers in suburban New Jersey — where he’s lived his entire life with the exception of a four-year sojourn in central New York to earn a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York-Oswego.
