Introducing The New NonProfit Times Store

By The NonProfit Times - May 13, 2014

Frequent shoppers of The NonProfit Times probably noticed that our online store received a major overhaul recently. All the features you have come to expect from NPT remain but there are some key differences that we felt we should explain to our customers.

Besides the visual changes, the main change you will find with Shop The NonProfit Times is the checkout feature. When you add an item to your cart, you will no longer be sent directly to the checkout page. Instead, you will get a notification that an item has been added to your cart and you will be free to continue shopping for other items. The price of the items you added to your cart will be updated every time you add a new item, so it will be easy to see how much you will be spending. For example, if you purchase one of our webinar series for $99 plus a one-year print subscription to NPT for $49.95, you will see that your cart has a total of $148.95 ready for purchase. You can then go directly to your cart to complete your order.

The next new feature is a wish list, which allows you to save items that  you like but aren’t sure you are ready to purchase yet. It can be easy to lose track of a product you liked and the wish list will ensure this never happens. Another similar feature is the compare window, which allows you to easily compare the prices of two different products. No more switching between two windows!

We’re working to add additional features soon, including a points system that will offer valuable discounts and rewards! Stay tuned to the NPT Blog for future announcements about the points system.

Now that you have a greater understanding of how our store works, head on over to browse our selection of outstanding resources tailored for nonprofit success!
