Featured Nonprofit Job Of The Day: Chief Executive Officer

Are you looking for that game-changing nonprofit job to boost your career? Today is your lucky day if that’s the case, because Easter Seals UCP North Carolina & Virginia is looking to hire a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the chosen candidate for this position will lead the executive team of the $85 million health and human services organization. Since this is a high-level executive job, candidates should make sure they have a wealth of experience. Specifically, all applicants should have at least 10 years of experience in solid, progressive leadership roles. Demonstrated skills will include excellent verbal and written communication, team building/leading, business acumen, networking and stakeholder engagement which enhances the ability of the organization to raise funds and further the mission of the organization, strategic and vision orientation.

Other requirements include:

  • Experience in building short and long-term plans; and,
  • A track record of successfully executing these plans.
