The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles is looking to hire a Director of Development who will be responsible for developing, planning, managing, implementing and evaluating all aspects of the organization’s fund development strategy and plan. Through the leadership of the Director, the dynamic fundraising team is responsible for planning and executing all annual giving, corporate sponsorships, major gifts, planned giving, foundation and corporate giving.
Other main responsibilities include:
- Create and implement diverse fundraising strategies to increase revenue annually;
- Meet the growing needs of the organization with the goal of enhancing a year-round cultivation and fundraising program;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key individual funders, Board members, corporations, foundations, volunteers, and alumnae; and,
- Oversee and direct a team of fundraisers: Senior Manager of Donor Relations, Manager of Annual Giving, Special Events Manager, Grants Manager, Fund Development Specialist, and Donor Data Base Supervisor.
Applicants should have at least 9-12 years of fundraising experience, particularly with major gift solicitation. A Bachelor’s degree is required, though an advanced degree is preferred. You can learn more and apply by visiting the NPT Jobs Career Center.
