Grief Reach Program

The New York Life Foundation (NYLF) and the National Alliance for Grieving Children (NAGC) are now accepting applications for its Grief Reach Program. Thirty-three grants totaling $1.2 million will be awarded to help bereavement organizations expand the reach of their programs to include underserved youth populations (18 years and younger). Starting with the program’s inception in 2011, 63 grants totaling $2.25 million have been awarded to organizations across the United States.

Humana Communities Benefit Program

The Humana Foundation is re-launching its signature grants program: The Humana Communities Benefits Program. Eligible organizations in San Antonio, Tampa, or Chicago will have a chance to win $350,000 over a three-year period. Winners will use the Humana Foundation grant to create new programs or enhance ongoing activities that have a positive, transformational impact on the organization and the community.

The NBC Universal Foundation is launching its 21st Century Solutions Grant Challenge. The program will award a total of $100,000 to Connecticut non-profit organizations implementing new and innovative programs that are moving the community forward in the following categories: Media Arts, Civic Engagement, Jobs and Economic Empowerment, Technology, Education, and Environment.
