Lincoln’s Legacy Awards

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking applications for its Lincoln’s Legacy Awards. To honor the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th amendment, the company will award $50,000 to one organization that best advances President Lincoln’s legacy of freedom and opportunity through education.

Eligible Organizations:

Eligible applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization that focuses in the area of education. In addition, applicants must have annual operating expenses of $750,000 or more. More eligibility rules can be found here. To be considered, organizations need to include the following in their application:

  • Describe how their organization upholds President Lincoln’s legacy of freedom, opportunity and equality through their educational programs;
  • Describe how the award would increase the impact on youths served by this program;
  • Explain how you plan to fulfill your measurable outcomes if you are to win this award.
