Johnson and Johnson Community Healthcare Program

Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health - March 15, 2013

The Johnson & Johnson Community Health Care Program (J&J CHC), in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) will be distributing grants to nonprofit community healthcare organizations implementing evidence- based, community-education programs that promote wellness and healthy lifestyle choices to prevent and reduce the impact of obesity in children.

Up to eight grants will be distributed, each one valued at $200,000 over 2 ½ years. To aid in this incorporation of evidence-based interventions and strengthening of their monitoring and evaluation capacity, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health will provide technical assistance throughout the entire Johnson & Johnson Community Health Care Program grant period.

Eligible Organizations

Nonprofit community health organizations located in the following areas will be eligible for these grants:

  • Louisville, Kentucky (Jefferson County)
  • Chicago, Illinois (Cook County)
  • Las Vegas, Nevada (Clark County)
  • Charlotte, North Carolina (Mecklenburg County)
  • Washington, DC (District of Columbia)
