Children’s Prize is seeking applications for its Data for Life Prize, which will award $50,000 to two organizations that can help identify the best approaches for reducing child mortality by supporting accurate, scientific evaluation of the number of lives that they save. Winners will be announced in December 2014 and all entries will be reviewed by a team of experts from organizations such as Harvard School of Public Health and the University of Miami Department of Pediatrics.Agency(s):

Eligible applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization. The Prize is open to anyone who is in a position to save children’s lives but lacks the means to quantitatively assess the impact of their work. Practitioners fighting to reduce child mortality as well as researchers in this area are encouraged to apply for the Data for Life Prize.
